Our Red Cedar Pickets are made with Western Red Cedar all other fence components #1 Northern White Cedar.
Picket options: 2x2 inch pointed or flat top. Standard spacing is 11/2 inches larger custom spacing is available at no additional cost. Top profile of pointed Red Cedar picket fence can be straight, scalloped, convex, or alternating. Flat top is straight.
Backing rails: 2x4 square or routed.
Heights: Standard 3, 31/2, 4, 5, and 6 feet Custom heights up to 6 feet are available for an additional cost.
Length: Standard in 8 feet Custom sections up to 10 feet and radius sections are available for an additional cost.
Cap Strip and Fascia Boards:
Flat top picket can be finished on top with 2x3 heavy routered cap strip and a top and bottom fascia board.
To create a more finished look you can substitute the cap strip with a 1x4 board and top, middle or bottom fascia boards depending on the height and style fence.
Installation Options: Mortise and tenon installation with doweled rails and drilled posts or cleat installation (no dowels or drilling)
Post options: 5x5, or 6x6 in cedar or pressure treated
Post tops: Pyramid, Flat Caps or chamfered top
All of our wood fences are available for staining in our shop before installation.
